AvMed- Tower ClubEdwards served as the Construction Manager for this AvMed senior living Clubhouse. The 31,342 SF clubhouse is the focal point of this Senior Living Community and features a wide variety of amenities including café-style dining area,private dining available for special occasions, the Windjammer Lounge, computer cyber center and reading room, ball room, health and fitness center, art studio with ceramics kiln, hair salon, and heated outdoor pool and hot tub.
Homewood Residences- Sun CityThis project includes a 36,500 SF three-story assisted living facility and a 33,500 SF two-story memory care center. Both buildings are adjacent to a large continuing care retirement community.
Sunrise Senior Living Assisted Living FacilityConstructed of structural steel, metal decks, metal stud framing, and shingle and flat roof decks, the exterior façade will also feature cultured stone and Hardy plank siding. Designed by BeeryRio Architecture + Interiors, Springfield, VA, the project is slated for completion in April 2009.
AvMed- VillasEdwards scope of work included the design and construction of this 78,000 SF four-story independent living facility. It features spacious floor plans include one bedroom, deluxe one-bedroom with enclosed sun porch and deluxe two-bedroom with a study.
The Wellness CenterThis building is structural steel with metal stud in-fill. The Villages Wellness Center was designed and built to be a state-of-the-art exercise and fitness facility for seniors. There is one lap pool and a therapy pool. This facility also features aerobic and exercise rooms.
