Edwards has constructed numerous office/light industrial and medical office buildings since its founding in 1978. The company is especially proud of its 10-year building relationship with Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida, where Edwards continues to utilize its state-of-the-art project management skills on a broad assortment of campus facilities.

Construction of a new 22,000 sf 14-classroom wing at College Park Elementary School, located in Ocala, FL. The structure consists of masonry concrete block walls, structural steel bar joist roof system, metal decks, interior block walls, with metal roofing, and a fire sprinkler system. Exterior facade consists of brick wainscot and stucco textured finish. Each classroom is equipped with new smart board technology to enhance the learning environment, along with a mixture of soft and accent colors that are ideal for learning. Aesthetic features included covered canopy walkway and new basketball and athletic courts.
Ridenow Power Sports of Ocala is a design-build project consisting of a new 36,000 sq.ft. Motorcycle Dealership. Construction includes concrete slab on grade, concrete tilt-up panels, structural steel roof framing, single ply roof and covered entry towers and walkways. The building also includes a 15,000 sq.ft. State-of-the-Art Showroom, Offices, Warehouse/Storage and a full service Parts and Service Area.
Waterfront Inn is a 4-story 120 room hotel. This project consisted of structural steel, masonry construction, and precast hollow core slabs.
With its second and third floors built-out for Pulte Homes’ regional office, this three-story, Class A office building consists of conventional structural steel, masonry stairwells and metal stud, and stucco exterior finish. Shell restrooms on the first floor were also included in Edwards’ scope of work
Featuring a cafeteria and kitchen, registration and testing facilities, as well as Student Activities Board and Patriot Press campus newspaper offices, this project required demolition of half of the existing structure, renovations to the remaining structure and 15,000 SF of new construction. The kitchen is also utilized for culinary classes.
