Roth Farms (Ray's Heritage)
A leading grower, distributor and marketer of fresh vegetables, Roth Farms’ new processing and cold storage facility is constructed of Thermomass® Building Insulation System, conventional steel and single-ply roof. Construction of the process rooms also included cooler panels, epoxy floors and food services- grade MEP systems. Refrigeration including a new hydro-cooler where also included in Edwards’ scope of work. The building also includes canopies by Butler Manufacturing
Pero Farms Packing & Sales
Expansion of existing vegetable processing facility consisting of 88,719 SF of cold storage with new shipping docks and 43,991 SF of new office space housing accounting, sales, shipping and receiving departments, as well as, an executive suite.
Pioneers Growers Construction
One of the largest sweet corn shippers in the U.S., Pioneer Growers' new addition to its existing processing facility houses an additional corn processing line connected to existing shipping docks. An ammonia refrigeration system was also added with capacity to replace the existing Freon systems.
Winn Dixie Distribution Center
Constructed of tilt-wall, conventional structural steel and built-up roof, this impressive facility features 500,000 SF of dry storage space plus 80,000 SF of -20ºF freezer space.
Beaver Street Fisheries
One of the nation’s leading importers of frozen seafood, Beaver Street Fisheries’ project required demolition of an existing two-story, 16,000 SF building followed by construction of a new 16,000 SF -10 degrees refrigeration facility on the same foot print. Edwards also converted a 13,600 SF ambient dock to a +50 degrees cool storage area, plus a complete conversion from a Freon base system to ammonia.
